The Township of Uxbridge is located in the northern part of Durham Region.
The Township is serviced by Durham Region Transit and GO Transit. The Stouffville GO transit line is planning to be extended to service Uxbridge at the Uxbridge station. It is currently serviced by buses.
The suburban community is known for its abundance of trails. It has over 200km of trails that span across 8,000 acres of green space.
Lakeridge, Dagmar, and Skyloft are three skill hills located in Uxbridge. The Township has an annual fair attraction that has been going on since 1886.
Uxbridge has several elementary schools, one high school and is under 30 min away from the University of Ontario Institute of technology.
